Educational Pathway
Advanced education may assist accessing a traditional career choice, such as medicine, and can also assist wider or non traditional career choices through humanities subjects, such as the arts, by developing a range of employable skills.
As a care leaver aged 16-18 you are entitled to financial support to meet your education, training and employment needs, plus help pay for things such as accommodation, food and clothing from the government.
Once at university or college extra support is still available to aid and assist you on your journey in higher education for all matters including mental health and wellbeing.
