Someone for Me

Our someone for Me project offers 1-to-1 support to Care Leavers aged 17-25 in both North and West Northants. 
We aim to support them with everyday things, but our main focus points are:

• Helping with the transition from care or a supported setting into independent living  
•  Support with education, employment and/or with training. 
• Help with improving their mental health, if needed

'​The mentoring project has been a great support for both my young people and me. Once referred, my young people feel they have someone they can trust and talk to, which has boosted their confidence and wellbeing. As a PA, it’s reassuring to know they have that extra layer of support and a positive role model in their lives.'

With the support of both North and West Northamptonshire Public Health, we are able to carry on with this project and support more Care Leavers.
