Our cooking project builds on life skills for our care leavers, allowing them to access a greater level of independence.
This project is in collaboration with Cooking Good, the project teaches care leavers and members of Northamptonshire Partnership Homes cooking skills and essentials.
Thank you to West Northamptonshire Council for funding this project.
Local News Coverage
Our project received local news traction from the Northampton Chronicle & Echo newspaper!
The coverage re-iterated the need for these skills based projects.
Lorraine Hirst, director of Community Health-Works UK CIC said:
"We will be helping residents in homes managed by NPH, and young people supported by Right Resolution CIC to learn some of the basics of shopping, cooking and eating well on a budget, whilst having fun in a supportive environment as part of our Cooking Good workshops".
Local Organisation & Council Support
We would like to thank Cooking Good for delivering these vital skills based sessions to our young people, and also thank Northamptonshire Partnership Homes for providing the venue that these sessions take place!
Finally, we would like to give thanks to West Northamptonshire Council for providing the Community Funding Grant for this project, this project would not have been possible without this kind award.
